la posibilidad de viaje depende de la disposición existencial de un camino, emparentado, como nuestro tiempo, al discurrir de un río… 

También de la adecuación a ese anhelo de medios más prosaicos”…

Beyond philosophies, it is not always possible or easy to run away from Carpetan hard summer, and such rigor can sometimes be over-taken and relieved in inland seas, which resembling sea beaches temporarily move us where we cannot and would like to be.

Thus, in our minds , what we see is not an inland sea ... 

Its light and its reflections, its setting in the soft light of dusk as well as in midsummer noon heat is perceived as the world our mood wants to imagine ... a large expanse of water that we freely interpret, we freely sail through.

Más allá de filosofías, no siempre es posible ni fácil huir del duro verano centro-carpetano, pudiendo a veces sobre-llevarse y aliviar tanto rigor en los mares interiores que, semejando playas marinas, nos trasladan temporalmente adonde no podemos y desearíamos estar. 

Así, en nuestro ánimo, lo que nosotros vemos no es un mar interior… 

Su luz y sus reflejos, su entorno en la dulce luz del atardecer tanto como en la plena canícula del mediodía los percibimos como el mundo que nuestro estado de ánimo quiere imaginar… una gran extensión de agua que interpretamos libremente, que navegamos libremente.

Sarlat Bistrot Life

As the sun sinks down behind umpteen miles of Perigord rolling hills, where the lazy Dordogne river winds gracefully through, Sarlat bistrots are bustling with summer tourists.

They indulge themselves with a cool beer, a French wine or a well-deserved full dinner, so ending their wandering day visits.

There is certainly an awful lot happening in Sarlat streets, probably the prettiest town in the Dordogne valley or Perigord, as French use the terms interchangeably, though its popularity can make for a less-than-tranquil neighborhood experience.
