The landscape collector

FEBRUARY 16

Morning fog enshrouds the Jandula’s river pond in the misty winter morning.
Fog conjures a sense of mystery to the water body.




Steam rising off the water limits vision and sharpens the ear, emphasizing the sounds of nature. 
Fog is silent but is also sound. Willfully but imaginatively we interpret these sounds.




Hidden in the low cloud hugging along the river and over the pond,                                                                                               a couple of grey herons await their fishing opportunity. 

               Grey are the river bank birds too...









A near splashing noise soon reveals a swimming cormorant.

No otter as we expected…, until the beautiful river king suddenly appears in the water, close to us...
